Overview

Core5 Group has officially expanded its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) operations to the Western United States. The move supports the company’s growing portfolio of renewable energy and infrastructure projects across California, Nevada, and Arizona, enhancing client service and on-site responsiveness in one of the country’s fastest-developing clean energy regions.

Why the Expansion

With over 30 years of combined EPC experience, Core5 has seen increasing demand for microgrid, solar, and battery energy storage projects in the western market. Establishing a permanent regional base allows the company to offer shorter mobilization times, stronger vendor partnerships, and local construction resources.

“The western U.S. represents a major opportunity for distributed energy and electrification,” said David Han, Core5’s Vice President of Operations. “Expanding our EPC capabilities here means our clients get faster turnaround, stronger field support, and the same quality Core5 is known for nationwide.”

Regional Capabilities

The new western division will provide full EPC services, including:

Turnkey project delivery for solar PV, BESS, and hybrid systems
Utility interconnection and permitting support
Construction management with safety-first oversight
Commissioning and O&M programs for long-term asset reliability

The regional office will also serve as a hub for training field supervisors, standardizing QA/QC processes, and coordinating with equipment manufacturers and utility partners throughout the region.

Looking Ahead

Core5 plans to launch additional regional support centers in 2026 to serve the Mountain and Southwest territories, reinforcing the company’s mission to deliver safe, sustainable, and cost-effective energy infrastructure across North America.
